Sport is at the forefront of technological research, with self-tracking systems and data gathering honing our performance. So what happens when technology boosts our performance and what does it mean for the future of sport? Join some of Melbourne’s most innovative entrepreneurs and researchers as part of the Game Changers Conversation Series.
• Associate Professor Robert Aughey – Victoria University researcher leading the FIFA EPS project
• Stephanie Kovalchik – Research Fellow at Victoria University, with a joint appointment at Tennis Australia as the lead data scientist
• Barry McNeill – Chief Operating Officer at Catapult Australia
• Kate Roffey - Director, Melbourne Football Club
This event is jointly presented by Maribyrnong City Council and Victoria University as part of their Footscray University Town partnership.

Venue directions: Enter the University through Gate 3 off Farnsworth Avenue and park towards the top of the parking area near the Aquatic and Fitness Centre. Then walk along the path between Buildings M and P and at the foot of the external stairs you can enter Building P through the glass sliding doors on your right and make your way to the Biomechanics Lab which is at the bottom of the internal stairwell.
