How do you build a diverse team?
The modern organisation benefits from the range of ideas generated by a diverse team - but how do you build one? In this talk Kirsteene Phelan of travel technology start-up Rome2rio shares current thinking surrounding diversity in recruitment, plus tools and tips being used to hire teams and build a company culture in which diversity is more than a buzzword.
Kirsteene is a communications professional with an operational focus. She has worked with Etsy, General Assembly, Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and Inspire9. She is currently the Director of Communications at Rome2rio and is an integral part of the startup's operations and HR team.
