Times: 11:30am, 1:30pm and 2:30pm

Duration: 45 minutes

Ages: Appropriate for children, but all ages welcome.

Will astronauts go to Mars in our lifetime? What is Mars like? How will people protect themselves for successful survival on Mars, what about food needs, how must they dress for protection when working outside their habitat, and where will they gain essential oxygen and water?


Join educator Dr Jeanette Dixon AM, as we go on a journey to learn more about the red planet. Dr. Dixon has over 50 years experience in science education, is a Senior Australian of the Year 2017 nominee, and is the only person in Australia who has a longterm loan of moon rocks from NASA.
