MISE EN PLACE
A TRADE ONLY EVENT - REGISTRATION ESSENTIAL
Mise en Place is a global Gault&Millau initiative that gives industry professionals the chance to engage with Australia's world-class producers and suppliers. It's an opportunity to build new relationships, learn new skills, find out what's happening in the industry, and catch up with friends.
This year, Mise en Place will also be held in Brisbane (29 May), Melbourne (3 July), and Perth (4 December).
Mise en Place connects you with high-quality suppliers, artisan producers, new industry technology, gourmet brands, and unique services. Click here to see our growing list of exhibitors at this year's event.
Our hands-on masterclasses are designed to teach you about new products or help develop your skills. Hosted by industry professionals, the classes are strictly limited to 24 pax, offering attendees an intimate environment to learn.

Throughout the day, Gault&Millau Australia will announce the finalists of their fourth annual awards. The nine awards celebrate restaurants and individuals who have made exceptional contributions to the Australian restaurant industry in 2017.
THE POTENTIALIST COOKING STAGE, presented by Electrolux Professional
Our Potentialist of the Year award recognises upcoming talent - the future chefs of our industry. The award finalists will show off their skills and talk about their experiences during 45-minute cooking demonstrations.
This is a fantastic day to engage with your industry and build key relationships.
Special thanks to our event partner, Doltone House Hyde Park, a popular Sydney function venue in the heart of the city. Five metre high ceilings with floor to ceiling arched windows allow in an abundance of natural light, providing uninterrupted views of Sydney’s Hyde Park. Bronzed mirror, aged brass and double stitched leather create a sophisticated setting for conferences, exhibitions, lunches, dinners and cocktail events with a maximum capacity 500 guests seated. Guests will enjoy direct access to Sydney’s business district, minutes from Sydney Tower, Martin Place, Town Hall and Darling Harbour.
