Description

Bushwalking NSW, with the help of a grant from The Environmental Trust, is now offering FREE training courses for those who love nature and want to continue to enjoy it in less harmful ways. Minimal Impact Bushwalking helps to preserve nature and biosecurity in our pristine Australian habitats.

This one-day training course will help you to ‘walk softly’ and leave a minimal impact as well as know the best safety preparations to make before you head out.

Join David on the Lane Cove Walk in Lane Cove National Park

  • Walk will begin at Chatswood Park and follow the river to Maquarie Sports Field.

  • Beautiful walk along side the river! Learn about minimal impact bushwalking tips and tricks as we walk along the track.

  • Bring along some rubbish bags so we can remove any rubbish we find during the walk.

Please bring sunscreen, rubbish bags and water. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. See http://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/visit-a-park/parks/lane-cove-national-park/visitor-info for more details.
