Description

Bushwalking NSW, with the help of a grant from The Environmental Trust, is now offering FREE training courses for those who love nature and want to continue to enjoy it in its natural state. Minimal Impact Bushwalking helps to preserve nature and biosecurity in our natural Australian habitats.

This half-day training course will help you to ‘walk softly’ and leave a minimal impact as well as know the best safety preparations to make before you head out.

Join Suzi on the Boggy Creek walk in Whian Whian State Conservation Area for a 4km return walk around Repentance Creek.

  • Walk will begin in at Mignon Falls picnic area and continue to Rumery Park to have a snack and walk back to Mignon Falls picnic area.

  • Suitable for families with kids (ages 7 and up)

  • At the end of the walk, you can relax by swimming in the many pools near the creek side section of the walk. This area is lovely; large turpentine trees, water gums and brushbox line the creek, as well as blackbutts and flooded gum!

  • Learn about minimal impact bushwalking as we walk along the track.

Please bring sunscreen, water, and a snack. Minors must be accompanied by a guardian. See https://www.nationalparks.nsw.gov.au/things-to-do/walking-tracks/boggy-creek-walk for more details.
