Online course for June

In line with health guidelines surrounding COVID-19 the May Mini-COGE Course will be online. Attendees will receive details of how to join online.

If for any reason we are unable to proceed with an online course we will offer options to attend a session at a later date. Please do not hesitate to contact us at education.events@unsw.edu.au if you have any queries or concerns.

About the Mini-COGE

The two-day Mini Certificate of Gifted Education is our most in-demand professional learning workshop, and has been revised and updated for 2020 with current research and new activities.

GERRIC will help you to:

  • Identify gifted and talented students
  • Differentiate the curriculum for your high-ability students
  • Implement ability grouping or acceleration with your students
  • Understand gifted education best practices

Participants receive 16 hours of NESA-accredited professional learning at Proficient level.

*Please note that attendance for all hours is mandatory in order to receive accreditation. No partial attendance will be able to receive accreditation, so please plan your travel and commitments accordingly.

Where is the Mini-COGE held and how do I get there?

The School of Education is located within the Morven Brown Building C20.

See the UNSW Australia Kensington Campus map here. If you’re not familiar with the campus, it can be useful to download the Lost on Campus app.

We recommend taking public transport whenever possible. Click here for public transport options. The UNSW Express 891 from Central Station will drop you at Gate 8, High St, a short distance from the Morven Brown Building. The return service (893) departs from the same bus stop.

Please note that if you choose to drive, parking is expensive: it will cost you around $50 per day. Limited pay-per-hour parking is available in the Botany St car park adjacent to the AGSM Building, on the upper levels as marked.

What's the refund policy?

Please read the participant agreement for further information regarding refunds.
