With Narda Salm, Travelling Yogi – The Relaxation Place and Amanda Vodic, Wellness Advocate and Essential Oils Guide. Special guest Leith James, Sound Practitioner from Gong Sound Meditation.

In this three-week workshop series we guide you back to yourself through meditation, restorative yoga and mindful practices. Enjoy the aroma of essential oils to steady, center and enlighten your spirit through each workshop. We help you shut out the noise, align with your true self, and move in to a more inspired way of living.

Workshop 1: Align
Sunday 19 November 2017
10:00am to 12:30pm

In this first workshop we start by creating a solid foundation on which to build in future weeks. Through a restorative yoga and meditation, we will guide you to align with your true self.



Using the power of aroma we will help you cement this feeling of alignment, with the chance to choose an essential oil intuitively, making a blend to take with you for the rest of the week. We’ll take some time for reflection on what it means to be aligned, with some practical exercises you can take in to your everyday.



Together we’ll then explore what you need to be your best self, through a heart-centered grounding yoga and meditation. Through this practice we will help you identify your heart felt desires. Bringing you to a place where you feel creative, ready to go out and design your life with intention.



Then come journey in the astonishing soundscape of the GONGS, historically used by Royalty. Gently float within the beautiful healing sounds of the crystal singing bowls, combined with the magic of bringing joy and peace within your heartspace through this beautifully guided sound meditation. With EXTRA SPECIAL GUEST Leith James Sound Therapist, Musician and Composer Sound - Gong Sound Meditation, on his sublime GONGS which create sounds that feel like another whole new dimension. Relax your body, quiet and calm your mind and journey in this astonishing soundscape. Crystal Bowls & Gongs are ideal for stress, pain reduction, deep relaxation and unwinding...



This final closing of the session will reset the body balance through gong sound meditation, a deeply relaxing and therapeutic experience. To help strength your nervous system, balance your chakras and increase your energy. 

You’ll leave feeling grounded, with trust in yourself, open to all the possibilities your new, aligned view can bring.


Workshop 2: Anchor
Sunday 26 November 2017
10:00am to 12:00noon

In this second workshop we will anchor our personal practice through different mindfulness techniques, explored through lying, walking and sitting poses. This workshop will involve a journal self-inquiry process, where we will explore mindful walking, opening to our sense of smell with essential oils and tratak meditation.

Anytime is a good time to start your Meditation practice. TRATAK, is one of the most deceptively simple, yet powerful Meditative techniques. A regular Tratak practice is a great and most effective for stress relief, insomnia, sleep issues among many. Learn about how to build a regular Tratak meditation routine here and then we will conclude with an iRest embodied presence and whole-body deep listening meditation. There are no movements required in the iRest Yoga Nidra Meditation & you are able to participate either lying down or in a comfortable seated position. Mats, bolsters, blankets & eye pillows are provided, however you are welcome to bring you own if you wish

Once again we will come together to intuitively pick an essential oil, learning about the emotional messages these oils offer us to explore our emotional state.

You will leave with a new essential oil to use through the week, to move through any emotional blocks, and bring you back to this moment of heightened mindfulness that allows a strong connection to yourself and your innate wisdom.


Workshop 3: Arise
Friday 1 December 2017
5:30pm to 7:30pm

Join in our final session at the end of the work week. These practices help you come home to that sense of calm, relaxation and center you for an enjoyable weekend.

We’ll start with a simple self-massage of the feet and legs with an essential oil of your choice. To balance the root chakra, regulating your sense of groundedness and stability.

Then you are invited to a sunset iRest Yoga Nidra meditation. Yoga Nidra is an ancient Tantric meditation technique done in the posture of shavasana (lying on your back) where the body is completely relaxed while the consciousness remains awake and alert. Yoga Nidra can heal on the most profound levels, into your deepest levels of the unconscious mind to release long held fears, habits and even unknown reactions to situations. Releasing emotional, mental and physical tensions. iRest has been a revived yoga nidra, specialising to relieve psychological trauma, with successful studies in US on war veterans, who require deep healing.

So much goodness to be had! On conclusion of the class we invite you to open your heart and delight your senses with the sweet sweet sounds of Kirtan, a musical meditation. Come and be soothed and uplifted by the music and vocals of this talented group of musicians. Their music is a sacred and soul-stirring fusion of beautiful traditional mantra’s and melodies inspired by the ancient poets and mystics.

This final session will leave you with a true sense of being able to arise to your highest potential..

Hi, I’m Leith. I help people relax their mind, body and soul through sound and music. Gong Sound Meditation is a deeply relaxing and therapeutic experience. I use a range of ancient instruments including Gongs, Didgeridoo (Yidaki) and Himalayan & crystal singing bowls, along with other soothing instruments. Aimed at supporting you to relax your body, quiet and calm your mind, and enable a reprieve from your daily stresses and worries, gongs are ideal for stress and pain reduction, deep relaxation, healing and personal transformation.

KIRTAN BRISBANE (Workshop 3)

Kirtan is musical meditation – a call and response connection between the sacredness of people. It is fast, easy, fun and authentic. What Vinyasa is for the body, Mantra Meditation, or Kirtan, is for the mind and heart. Kirtan is an antidote that links us back with ourselves. It is relaxing, rejuvenating, easy, non-sectarian and fun! It is said that we are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but spiritual beings having a human experience. And Mantra Yoga/ Meditation is one of the best ways to tap into the benefits of spiritual positivity for all of us. The whole experience starts with guided meditation.
