Tue., 02/05/2017, 12:30 pm – Tue., 20/06/2017, 2:30 pm AEST
Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention is an evidence based program offered to adults hoping to better understand their own habits and live in a way more connected with their values. Christine Hiltner has a wealth of experience in the field of relapse prevention, and as a Yoga Instructor, Social Worker and Mindfulness Teacher, will introduce participants to the benefits of mindfulness for increasing awareness of triggers and developing insight, assisting with self regulation and in the development of self compassion and self wisdom. Each of the 8 sessions builds skills and knowledge as the course progresses, and home practice between sessions is important. The course is educational and experiential but there are no obligations for self disclosure.
