This live online course assists health professionals to learn or strengthen mindfulness skills for self care and for working with others.

About this Event

Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction is a leading evidence based, non-pharmacological, educational intervention for reducing and preventing stress, anxiety and depression and enhancing the wellbeing of health professionals. This 8-week course is intense but might just be worth it to prevent burnout or manage stress. Additional information and resources on theory underpinning the course and resources are provided to assist those who also teach mindfulness to others. No self-disclosure required. Mindfulness practices are integrated with the latest psychological understandings. Access to an app and comprehensive resources included. This course is intended for Australian health professionals to connect from their own home and is accessible via a zoom link in a live online course. Max of 6 pax. MONDAYS 6:30-8:45pm for 8 consecutive weeks.
