Mindfulness for Depression is the international evidence based course for assisting adults with relapsing depression to both prevent and manage episodes of depression in the most skilful way possible. This is an educational course and while it is a group program, there are no obligations to share personal experiences. The focus is on understanding how our mind and reactions work when depressed and otherwise, and exploring how mindfulness meditation may make a difference. The course is experiential and each session builds on the one before. Sessions are held on Tuesdays 12:30-2:30 pm for eight consecutive weeks from August 1.There is an additional Day of Mindfulness on either September 9 or 10. The course is facilitated by Clinical Psychologist, Miranda Stephens. Online Registrations are essential. Early Bird prices of $495 are available until June 19.
