Description
Mindfulness for Depression is the international evidence based course for assisting adults with relapsing depression to both prevent and manage episodes of depression in the most skilful way possible. This is an educational course and while it is a group program, there are no obligations to share personal experiences. The focus is on understanding how our mind and reactions work when depressed and otherwise, and exploring how mindfulness meditation may make a difference. The course is experiential and each session builds on the one before. Sessions are held on Tuesdays 6:00pm - 8:30 pm for eight weeks.There is an additional Day of Mindfulness.
