Bring your mind home, and develop the power of now.

Mindfulness helps us clear the mind, calm the body, and focus our attention so that we feel rejuvenated, more in charge, and more happy.

The MBCT is the central training for you to really experience and understand traditional mindfulness and how mindfulness is used to alleviate stress, and burnout; manage depression and other emotional challenges and instead live into the life you value with calm, clarity and focus.

Designed for those who want to learn sophisticated, evidence-based skills, this course is based on the Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy program, globally researched and taught, and recommended by UK National Health as treatment of choice for depression. Psychologists, social workers, eductaors, leaders and managers who may be familiar with a range of Mindfulness models will appreciate the inclusion of exercises and content from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

You will see how mindfulness offers a powerful form of insight not available through cognitive reflection and self-anaylsis.

Practicing mindfulness gives you both new insights, and the stability of mind to choose how to act.

"I greatly appreciated Liana's organic connection of ideas, and their natural flow when seen as a complimentary cluster. Experiencing Liana's working method first-hand helped me to consolidate much of my own professional thinking" D.H. Social Worker

Participants gain real depth from the MBCT, plus clarity, comparisons and distinctions from the other models to really understand the fundamentals of applied therapeutic mindfulness, and why mindfulness training is so profoundly valuable for working with stress, depression, anxiety, Illness and pain.

Participants describe it as professionally refreshing and personally rejuvenating. No pre requisite. Suitable for beginners to very experienced mindfulness practitioners.

"Inspiring, intelligent and fun."

Presenter: Liana Taylor, MPsych (Clin) Mindfulness Specialist, the leading provider of applied mindfulness training to professionals across Australia.
