Mindfulness & Meditation Course For Insomnia

Dates: 31st July to 28th August 2017 (5 weeks)
Time: Every Monday 7-8pm
Investment: $99 (5 weeks course)
Casual: $25 per session
Limited seats-12

According to WHO definition of Insomnia-
Insomnia is a sleep disorder that is characterized by difficulty falling and/or staying asleep. People with insomnia have one or more of the following symptoms:
- Difficulty falling asleep
- Waking up often during the night and having trouble going back to sleep.
- Waking up too early in the morning
- Feeling tired upon waking

Recent researches show that regular meditation or mindfulness practices can improve sleep patterns. (Black, O’Reilly and Olmstead 2014)
Usually, stress and fatigue are the main cause of insomnia. Meditation allows the body and mind to become quiet, reducing the effect of stress and giving deep rest to the mind and body.
It helps you break the train of your everyday thoughts to evoke the relaxation response of your nervous system.
