Description

Engaging in a regular Mindfulness Practice gives you an opportunity to reduce stress, improve sleep quality, and live with more ease in your daily life.

Mindfulness In a Busy World (MiBW) 4 Week course offers an opportunity to learn some of the theory and latest science validating the benefits possible through making both formal and informal mindfulness practices a part of your everyday life.

Suitable for those who have never practiced mindfulness before, or those who may want to refresh and re-establish their practice.

Each week you will have the opportunity to engage in and practice new mindfulness skills both in the face to face classes and at home supported by access to audio recorded formal mindfulness practices and a course book offering readings in some of the theory and science of mindfulness.

This introductory course offers a taste of applying mindfulness to your everyday life. After taking the course you may decide to really deepen your exploration and practice of mindfulness by enrolling in our next Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) 8 Week course.

MBSR remains the gold standard in Mindfulness Based programs, backed up by 38 years of research. MBSR includes 8 x 2.5 hours weekly classes and, a 1 day mindfulness retreat, equalling 28 hours of face to face teaching. The MBSR course includes a 100 page course book, yoga mat, access to an App with 20 different formal mindfulness practices, personal support between each class and as a graduate of MBSR you can attend our quartely 1 day retreats.

If you choose to enrol in MBSR within 12 months of completing MBiW we will deduct the cost of the introductory course from the full MBSR fee.

There is ample street parking around the venue and disabled access to the building.

What's the refund policy?

A full refund is available up to course commencement. If you commence the course and then do not continue for any reason, please contact Karen to discuss options for transfer into future MiBW courses or to the full Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Course.
