The Mindful Works for Leaders program will help you and your team:

  • open to the challenges and discomforts required to lead

This practical, professional development program combines contemporary leadership theory with the ancient wisdom and current research and practice of mindfulness.

The Program

Comprising 12 hours of mindful leadership training this two-day professional development program engages participants in informative, reflective, interactive and experiential learning activities.

In Bathurst the Mindful Works for Leaders is being offered as a transformative leadership retreat that will take advantage of the beauty and serenity of Rahamim Ecological Centre.

This rare opportunity to let go of all the usual worries and preoccupations, nurture yourself, reboot and reconnect with what really matters will be restricted to a maximum of 25 participants.

Participating leaders will learn and practice strategies for:

  • Increasing calm, clarity and focus
  • Aligning purpose, process, time and tasks
  • Applying mindfulness to routine and difficult interpersonal communication
  • Skills that allow people to be heard, challenged and open to change
  • Bringing open awareness to current conditions and available choices

In addition to the more than twelve hours of transformative training the Mindful Works for Leaders retreat program at Rahamim will include morining guided practice sessions and an optional day of silent practice.

The flexibility of the program means that you can register for one day or two.

All tickets include: Expert facilitation and learning resources, a comprehensive handbook, guided practice recordings, practice inspiration cards, certificate of completion, optional day of guided practice, all lunches and Friday night dinner.

Day 1: Mindfulness practice for leaders, 12 – 9pm Friday 16 March

• Learn and practice the foundations of mindfulness

• Retreat from pressing day-to-day demands

• Reconnect with your intentions and purpose

• Bring open awareness to current conditions and available choices

• Restore balance and glimpse the value of silence and stillness

• Learn strategies for increasing calm, clarity and focus at work

Day 2: Leading with mindfulness in mind, 9am–4.30pm Saturday 17 March

• Identify challenges and opportunities for leading mindfully

• Bring mindful awareness to purpose, process, time and tasks

• Practice mindful interpersonal communication

• Open to approaching difficult communication with calm and clarity

• Learn strategies that create the space for others to perform

• Recognise and reflect on unhelpful patterns and new ways of being


BONUS – Optional Daylong Mindfulness Retreat – Sunday 18 March, 10–4

Whether you opt to attend one or two days you are welcome to attend an addtional day of guided mindfulness practice on Sunday 18 March, at no extra cost. Yes. You have the opportunity to enjoy a daylong mindfulness retreat free of charge.

• Consolidate and deepen your understanding and practice of mindfulness

• Learn and practice the 4 postures of meditation and the 7 points of the posture

• Experience and explore the value of silent practice and silent companionship
