There’s no better way to start your day.
Join us for our first Smiling Mind community workshop featuring our Mindfulness 101 introductory program. The 2 hour workshop is ideal for individuals seeking a kick-start into a more mindful lifestyle for 2016 and beyond.
You will walk away with a greater understanding of the concepts of mindfulness and meditation gained through practical, motivating, informative and inspiring insights and easy to follow techniques. This workshop is an introductory session, complemented by our 5 week online course available to you at the conclusion of the event (inlcuded in your ticket price) as well as the use of the Smiling Mind app, which offers hundreds of hours of guided meditations to help you to build a regular practice.
Workshop content is tailored to adults, however ages 16+ are welcomed.
You will hear from our wonderful CEO, Dr. Addie Wootten and Education Manager, Kay Watts.
Need to know a little more about Smiling Mind? We are a free app and web-based mental health and wellbeing non-profit offering mindfulness programs and tools designed to enhance wellbeing. Our app offers free guided meditations that help begin your journey into mindfulness. All you have to do is press the button! Our programs are based on years of research from institutions such as Harvard, UCLA and Monash and have been designed by psychologists and medical professionals to help reduce stress, depression and anxiety and enhance wellbeing.
