Sometimes it is hard to know how you are perceived by others. When entering the world of work, the way you present what you stand for becomes more and more important. It influences your opportuntities and your success.
This 3 hour workshop is designed to help graduate students understand their own style of communication more clearly and engage with a diverse group of people and personalities.
You will be helped to reflect on how you want your best self to be perceived by others and participate in excercises that empower you to present your own personal brand.
Afternoon tea and refreshments will be provided.
Statement to self
Each participant is assisted in delivering a ‘Statement to Self’ in which they summarise and demonstrate their own optimal communication style. This takeaway reference point will be filmed with your consent and become a valuable reminder to consult repeatedly, particularly when facing communication challenges.
Delivered by Suangi Sambathkumar and James Freemantle | REDgum Communications Pty Ltd
Venue: Gryphon Gallery, 1888 Building
