A FREE community seminar for parents and carers
An informative evening with Maggie Dent who is an author, educator, and parenting and resilience specialist with a particular interest in the early years and adolescence.
Maggie Dent will be presenting on "Saving Childhood: The key building blocks to protecting childhood"
Children are shaped by the choices made by adults, experiences they have and the world as they see it through their eyes. Maggie’s common-sense, practical model of 10 building blocks will reassure parents and those who work with children that what they have always known to be important in the early years of a child’s life is still important! In this seminar, Maggie will take participants through her key building blocks with a special focus on how to reduce the unhealthy influences of our modern consumer-driven world like sexualisation, marketing,
media & technology. This is a call to save childhood from being stolen by our modern world.
