Microcredential Unit: Students on the Autism Spectrum
Overview
Having completed the Supporting Students on the Autism Spectrum short course, you will have gained essential knowledge and evidence-based practices to provide high-quality education to students on the autism spectrum in any setting.
With our Microcredentials, you can expedite the completion of a postgraduate qualification. In addition to obtaining proficient teacher accreditation and valuable professional development, your Microcredential in combination with the Supporting Students on the Autism Spectrum short course can contribute towards earning 6 Units of Credit (UOC) for the Master of Education or Graduate Certificate at UNSW*.
Converting your certificate of completion into a postgraduate program in education is quick, flexible and completely online. Simply follow the steps below:
1. After registering, you'll be enrolled to our online course platform and gain access to supplementary online materials and resources necessary for completing the assessments in the course.
2. Finish and upload the two course assessments using the online course platform. Your submissions will be reviewed by a member of the School of Education Academic team, who will then disclose your result.
3. Upon successful completion of the unit, you will be invited to apply for postgraduate study. The 6 UOC will be applied upon commencement of study.
*Eligibility: You will be asked to confirm the date you completed the Supporting Students on the Autism Spectrum short course during the registration process. If you are unsure when you completed this please contact us via ada.sc@unsw.edu.au.
