Description

Mentor Refresher Training

No training course can be as effective as time spent in an agency where trainees can observe and experience first-hand the work of a Community Support Worker. That is why a core component of the CISVic Community Support Worker (CSW) training is the supervising mentor.

This training builds on the knowledge and skills of current mentors to assist them effectively in this role. Including overview of the CSW training, responsibilities of mentors in the CSW training, elements of mentoring, trouble shooting and giving constructive feedback and loads more.
