Event description
An event for Carers - Living with the elderly and sick and learning how to balance two lives.

About this Event

Are you caring for someone at the moment? Do you care for an elderly, sick child, sick partner, parents? You love them dearly, but are there times when you just wish you disappeared, wish they could call someone else for help, wish there was more appreciation for your love and efforts, wish you had your own life, could work full time without worrying about their health?

It is a tough job living with someone who needs constant care as they not only need physical care but they need a lot of emotional and mental care too, which means attending to all their needs and not making them feel they are sick and dependent. But that is an exhausting process, and from time to time carers need to take time off, focus on their needs, fulfill their emotional, mental, physical needs and also get attention.

This event focuses on sharing experiences and scenarios and learn techniques and methods how to balance a carer's life and personal life. That balance, that equilibrium is the key to a positive and happy life. Remember you are not alone, come and meet everyone who is in this boat and share as debriefing and giving yourself that attention and importance is the ultimate care you can do for your loved ones in the longer run.

This event will be run by a Mental Health Counsellor for Blossoming Minds Therapy. If you need counselling or are unsure or hesitant about attending this event, please email on info@blossomingmindstherapy.com.au or call 0452 205 407
