Overview

Accredited Mental Health First Aid training for workplaces—build confidence to recognise and respond to mental health concerns.

Why Every Workplace Needs Mental Health First Aid Officers

Untreated mental health conditions cost Australian businesses an estimated $10.9 billion each year in absenteeism, presenteeism and compensation claims. Beyond the financial cost, workplaces risk lowered productivity, disengagement, and higher turnover when mental health isn’t addressed.

About the Course

This Blended Mental Health First Aid Workplace Course equips participants with the skills and confidence to recognise the signs of common mental health conditions, start supportive conversations, and guide a person towards appropriate professional help.

The course combines self-paced eLearning with an interactive face-to-face session, ensuring participants leave with both knowledge and practical strategies to use immediately in their workplace.

  • Participants must complete the eLearning before attending the face-to-face training.
  • The eLearning component is delivered by Mental Health First Aid Australia and takes approximately 6–8 hours to complete.
