The Gympie Region Volunteer Centre are providing FREE Mental Health First Aid to volunteers.

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) teaches participants how to assist people who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves.

Courses are delivered by an Accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor. You can find a course near you on our Courses Calendar, or you can contact an Instructor directly to arrange a course for your organisation or group.

There are core Mental Health First Aid courses to learn how to assist specific population groups, and specialised Mental Health First Aid courses to learn how to help someone experiencing a specific crisis or situation.

This is a two day course which will take place at Regional Training Services, Gympie
