This course involves a combination of online (eLearning) followed by a 4 hour practical workshop. This course teaches staff how to provide initial support to people who are developing a mental illness or experiencing a mental health crisis. It is comprehensive, covering all common mental health problems and crisis situations.
Delivered by accredited Mental Health First Aid facilitators from the UWA Health Promotion Unit.
