Join Scientist Richard Rennie and Artist Kaitlyn Elsegood to create and design your own working cardboard boom box radio!

About this event

Leave your ipad, smartphone and tablet at home and join Scientist Richard Rennie and Artist Kaitlyn Elsegood to create and design your own working cardboard boom box radio!

The first part of the workshop Richard will show the children how to build a crystal radio that is able to pick up AM wave lengths. Participants will then work with Kaitlyn to build their own boom box cover completely from cardboard.

Please note this workshop will take indoors in Wireless Hill Cottage, all materials provided. Parents are welcome to stay and accompany their children.

Suitable for ages 8 to 15. Tickets $10 per child (parents free).
