At our workshops you can familiarize yourself with your camera and gain the confidence to capture your most precious memories. You will also gain an appreciation and understand the power of Adobe Photoshop with hands on experience working with the photos you took to bring them to life or save them if you were not quite happy with them.

What will we cover?
1 day Beginner Photography workshop
In the Beginners photography workshop you will learn about:
Things to do before you even pick up your camera
Understanding your DSLR
The triangle of exposure: ISO, Shutter and Aperture
Fundamentals of portraiture - the dos and don’ts of people photography
Composing your images using image design theory
Tips and tricks of the art of photography
Once we have covered the basics in a formal lecture we will be going on location in a group and shooting with models to put the theory to practise to learn how to capture those special moments!
1 day Beginner Adobe Photoshop workshop
In the Beginners photography workshop you will be using the images from Day 1 and we will cover:
Understand the basic workflow in Photoshop
Paint & Brush tools - getting our hands dirty
Selections & Layers - seeing the magic here
File Formats - What, when and why?
Demonstrate ways of rescuing badly captured images using Photoshop
How to give your images that extra 10% oomph using Photoshop
2 day Beginner Photography/Adobe Photoshop workshop
Or complete both days over a weekend to learn the end to end finish to capturing and enhancing your most precious memories
