You have been invited to the 4th and last FinTech Compliance Forum for 2016.


The meeting starts at 12.30pm on Monday 12 December 2016 at the offices of Pitcher Partners (Level 19, 15 William Street, Melbourne VIC, 3000). A complimentary sandwich lunch will be provided.


AGENDA

Here is the agenda:

  1. Commissioner John Price on ASIC’s priorities, what’s been happening (eg. Regulatory Sandbox) and what’s ahead.
  2. Trends – updates on Equity-based crowd funding, VCLP and other tax changes, digital wallets, capabilities of distributed ledger technologies.
  3. Cyber security and your Privacy Policy.
  4. Updates from other industry bodies.

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT THE FORUM

It's for executives and compliance mangers of financal technology (FinTech) firms and people interested in starting up a FinTech business. Topics we cover include legal and regulatory, licensing, tax and structure.


FinTech broadly includes:

  1. Peer-to-peer (P2P) Lending
  2. Crowdfunding
  3. Roboadvising, roboinvesting and automated trading
  4. Digital Currency (including decentralised ledger technologies).
