Melbourne AMEP Volunteer Tutor Information Session 1

The Melbourne AMEP Volunteer Tutor Scheme is recruiting volunteers to support learners from migrant and refugee backgrounds with English.

Volunteers help new arrivals reach personal goals, such as gaining confidence with conversational English, accessing local services, learning more about life in Australia, and working towards further study or employment.

Importantly, volunteers offer a connection to community.

You don’t need to be a teacher – this information session will help you learn about how you can support someone to feel ‘at home’ in Melbourne.
