Applications open via our website until June 7th, start yours today!

## The Workshop

Applications are now open for Melb DjangoGirls, a female-focused beginners coding workshop for adults in Django/Python!! The workshop has a section for beginners, where you learn from scratch, as well as a section for our returning djangogirls to learn additional tutorials!

Each participant will work alongside their peers, supported by numerous mentors, to complete Django based tutorials from open source DjangoGirls materials*. All you need to bring is a laptop and a learning mindset!

The format of the tutorials is a self-guided coding workshop, including instructions, with the available help of mentors who work in the Melbourne tech space.

On the day of the workshop, event registrations will begin at 10:00 am and we will conclude with an afternoon tea & wrap-up at 3:00 pm. Lunch and sweets will be provided.

## The Application Process

The application process assists us to identify the 50 lucky individuals who are selected to attend this fully paid for event - with thanks to our event sponsors for making this possible! The application process has three stages and is conducted in three rounds, ending on May 1st, 17th and 31st. Primary contact will be made via email to applicants at the end of each round, and further information provided for the subsequent application stages. Begin your application here!

Will videography be used at the event?

We understand that it can be difficult for mothers to leave their young children, if you are unable to find suitable alternative arrangements, please indicate in your application that you will be bringing your bubs with you. We can discuss what arrangements need to be made.
