Melanoma March Western Sydney is a fun community event where participants can walk or march along a short course to raise awareness about melanoma and funds for life-changing research.
Now in its second year, Melanoma March Western Sydney will take place in the new location at Parramatta Park. Marchers will start adjacent to Pavilion Flat and follow the pathway around the park, taking in some spectacular views.
Registrations on the day open from 8am. Please make sure you give yourself enough time before the walk commences to check in. The march will commence at 9am.
Participating in Melanoma March is a great way to show your support for melanoma research, raise funds to find a cure and have a fun day out with your community. All funds raised will go towards crucial research dedicated to finding a cure for melanoma.
Parramatta Park is located on the western edge of the Parramatta CBD and is an easy short walk from Parramatta and Westmead railway stations or the Rivercat terminal.
Other public transport options include bus and the Parramatta Shuttle. To plan your journey, please visit Transport NSW.
If you are on foot, the best entry points are from O'Connell, Pitt, Macquarie and George Streets on the eastern boundary; Queens Road and Park Avenue to the west and Great Western Highway to the South.
While we encourage participants to catch public transport we recognise that many people do drive to Parramatta Park. There are a limited number of parking spaces available within the park, including two long stay car parks; the Pool Car Park ($11 fee) and the Bowling Green Car Park ($12 fee). There are also a number of mobilty spaces around the park.
