Melanoma March Brisbane is a fun community event where participants can walk or march along a short course to raise awareness about melanoma and funds for life-changing research.
Melanoma March has grown into a popular activity for the whole family. The Brisbane March has moved to its new location at Riverstage in the City Botanic Gardens, and follows a 4km return track across the Goodwill Bridge and towards CT White Park before turning around just past the Cliff Cafe/end of River Terrace.
Registrations on the day open from 8am. Please make sure you give yourself enough time before the walk commences to check in. The march will commence from 9am.
Participating in Melanoma March is a great way to show your support for melanoma research, raise funds to find a cure and have a fun day out with your community. All funds raised will go towards crucial research dedicated to finding a cure for melanoma.
Riverstage is very centrally located and can be accessed by train, bus or car. There are bus stops on Alice Street outside the City Botanic Gardens - see the Translink website for bus timetables. By train, you can stop at either Central Station or South Bank Railway Station. Both are a short walk to Riverstage.
The venue can also be accessed by the CityCat using the QUT Gardens Point ferry terminal.
Parking around Riverstage is available, but limited. We recommend taking public transport to and from the event.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
As much as we love our four-legged friend, the change in venue for the Brisbane March means that we are now not allowed any pooches inside Riverstage. If you want to bring your dog on the walk, there is the option to tie them up outside the venue until the walk commences.
