Join us online for the official launch of the new Australian Children's Laureate: Andy Griffiths!

Register NOW for a special live-stream event celebrating the launch of the 2026 and 2027 Australian Children’s Laureate program. The 2026–2027 Laureate, Andy Griffiths, champions the power of reading as an adventure that all children and families can enjoy. He will be joined by illustrator Bill Hope, his collaborator on a new series, including You & Me and the Land of Lost Things and You & Me and the Peanut Butter Beast.

The Australian Children's Laureate embraces the transformational power of reading, creativity and story in the lives of young Australians. A national and international ambassador for Australian children’s literature, the Laureate is selected biennially from the country’s leading authors and illustrators.

This event is brought to you by the Australian Children’s Laureate Foundation in partnership with the State Library of NSW.

There will be an Auslan interpreter during this live-streamed event.
