Meet the Chef Dinner with Valli Little

University House invites you to dinner with Valli Little, one of Australia’s food superstars, who will be in conversation with Alex Sloan.
This 3 course dinner will feature recipes from Valli’s new book, My Kind Of Food, her most personal cookbook yet. Valli shares 100 recipes that she has cooked time and again to share with the people she loves, dishes that burst with colour and flavour, making the most of incredible seasonal produce. Valli's recipes, in her ten best-selling cookbooks, have inspired a generation of home cooks to be more adventurous in the kitchen. For her legions of fans, Valli's recipes, are synonymous with irresistible twists on unique ingredients, trends and clever reinterpretations of traditional favourites.
Valli Little was born into a family of UK restaurateurs. After formal training at Le Cordon Bleu in London, she embarked on a career as a food consultant and caterer. For 14 years Valli was food director of the highly successful delicious. magazine where she created up to 60 recipes each month inspired by her travels and her love of food. Valli continues at delicious. as senior contributing editor with a monthly feature in the magazine.
Alex Sloan is one of Canberra’s best-known and loved personalities. She recently retired from the ABC radio after 27 years.
Pre-drinks and book signings will be available in the Common Room from 6.15pm. Book signings will also take place after the dinner.
