In this session, James Nicholson, Director of Hospitality of Spotless will share insights on the key procurement priorities and opportunities across Spotless’ facilities and venues.
Spotless is currently spearheading the implementation of an invigorated local procurement strategy across Australia and New Zealand. As part of this workshop, James will be joined by Spotless’ Heads of Operation for Fine Dining, Stadiums, Retail and Education, and together they will share the vision and directive for their facilities, outlining the key procurement priorities and opportunities for Autumn / Winter 2021.

About James Nicholson, Director Hospitality, Spotless
James is an internationally experienced business leader with a progressive background in a diverse range of world-class venues including stadia, theme parks, holiday resorts, performance venues and ships.
As an experienced senior manager, James brings a mature, reasoned approach to the challenge of operating large volume businesses and offer innovative ideas to develop both the customer experience and the commercial return.
He has built, developed and retained large teams, and worked with stakeholders at all levels to bring long-term success and combines a strong sense of strategic thinking with a practical approach to the day-to day.
James has experience commercially delivering multiple business functions, from sales to operations, in both in house and outsourced environments, with a strong focus on hospitality. He has an equally strong background in support services, including health and safety, waste management, procurement, inventory management and the creation and management of service contracts.
Financially astute, James has mobilised new builds, developed and executed turnaround strategies in failing businesses to build long term success, including at the 67,000 capacity, Edinburgh home of Scottish Rugby, BT Murrayfield, having doubled turnover and delivered budget over seven consecutive years.
