Event description

Description

Meet popular local author Kylie Kaden (Missing You and Losing Kate) as she launches her latest book The Day the Lies Began.

It's a domestic thriller where long buried secrets float to the surface. Two couples, four ironclad friendships, the perfect coastal holiday town.

With salt-stung houses perched like lifeguards overlooking the shore, Lago Point is the scene of postcards, not crime scenes. Wife and mother Abbi, town cop Blake, schoolteacher Hannah and local doctor Will are caught in their own tangled webs of deceit.

Kylie Kaden knew writing was in her blood from a young age, when she used her brother’s computer to invent stories. Her first full length novel, Losing Kate, was plucked from the slush pile of a major publisher and widely acclaimed before being translated internationally. She followed this with Missing You.

The Day The Lies Began is her third novel and her foray into the domestic thriller genre.

Free. Registration essential.
