About this Event

Meditation makes you happier.

People who meditate generally lead happier lives than those who don't.

Meditation is known to enhance the flow of constructive thoughts and positive emotions. Even just a few minutes a day can make a BIG difference.

Meditation helps you improve your health by managing anxiety, stress and depression.

The transformative potential of meditation shouldn't be underestimated. Studies have shown that the part of the brain that regulates stress and anxiety shrinks when meditation is practiced consistently.

You will learn many different styles of meditation from an experienced Meditator who has almost 40 years of personal Meditation practice and has developed a down to earth, hands on, teaching approach to guide you on your journey.

This Workshop is designed for you if you are wanting to learn how to meditate or resume your practice.

You will gain knowledge from experiencing many meditations so you can choose one or some and practice daily.

This workshop is delivered by a health professional, Julie McDonald and her courses are always taught with compassion, engagement and wisdom from her 35 years of personal practice of meditation, teaching, mindfulness and as a therapist.

The experiential nature of the workshop means that it is not suitable for those who are severely depressed, anxious or in the midst of particularly challenging circumstances.

The workshop is designed as adult education classes rather than group therapy, and do not constitute any form of diagnosis or treatment.
