About this Event
All faculty and conjoint staff involved in teaching UNSW Medicine Undergraduate/Postgraduate students, plus UNSW students researching medical education are invited to showcase their learning and teaching practice/research by presenting a presentation or poster on their design and innovation projects and educational research.

Please orientate your abstract to the 2020 Forum theme - Medicine & Health Education: COVID and beyond.
1. Traditional Talk: 10-minute presentations on the educational aspects of your practice, e.g. evaluation of your teaching experiences, innovations, curricular or assessment development, and scholarly educational research and development. Presentations of final stage/published educational research by our PhD, ILP, or Honours students are also encouraged. Max. 10 slides for a 10-minute talk. Q&A time will be allocated in blocks of presentations.
2. Lightning Talk: 3 minutes presentation (max, 3 slides) plus 2 minutes Q&A. Ideal for those not wishing to do a full presentation or for early research results etc.
3. TED Talk: 10 minutes plus 5 minutes (max. 5 slides). Ideal for more theoretical and/or personal viewpoints.
Abstract deadline is midday on Wednesday 25th November 2020.
There are also poster options:
1. There is an option to submit a PPT one-slide poster, with or without audio (max 3 mins), if you don't wish to present live.
2. If you have a conference poster that was presented at another forum, anytime in 2020 or late 2019, please let us know - these will be digitised and set on a PowerPoint Show on loop during the virtual coffee break and other intermissions!
IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN ONE presentation topic/idea. or an abstract for a presentation PLUS a poster idea, please submit each abstract within a separate form.
