Event description

Description

There are increasing reports of doctors experiencing exhaustion, burnout, and compassion fatigue due to their significant work and study loads. How might medical students better understand the expectations of our wonderfully fulfilling, yet demanding profession?

For our first Medical Academic Event for 2018, we have assembled a panel of eminent medical professionals to discuss their experiences. How do they study, work hard and still have a life? What techniques do they use to protect their psychological wellbeing? What advice do they have for us?

Our guest include:
- Dr Anant Sharma. He is currently completing his Master of Medicine in Psychiatry and is working as a Psychiatry Registrar at RPA
- Dr Michelle Parsonage. She is a graduate of Notre Dame University and past Sancta President who has just completed her internship at RPA
- Dr Lucy Wynter. She is a Nephrologist, a senior lecturer at the University of Sydney and is currently developing the “Sydney Medical Program Well Curriculum”

Join us for a night of fascinating insights – it's not to be missed!
