The Australian Chapter of the International Institute of Communications and the UTS Centre for Media Transition invites you to this informative event and presentation. 

 

The Media and communications: connectivity and the 4th industrial revolution event will kick off a series of IIC Australia seminars and events focusing on emerging media and communications policy trends and industry developments.  Over the coming months we will continue to draw on the expertise and insight of global industry thought leaders to enhance discussion and debate.

Chris Chapman

President International Institute of Communications | Key themes emerging form the IIC's recent Annual Conference in Brussels

 

Chris Chapman was appointed President of the International Institute of Communications on 1 April 2016. Mr Chapman previously held the position of Chairman and CEO of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA).  His presentation will encompass insights form the IIC's annual flagship meeting of global media executives and public policy-makers.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Adrian Turner

CEO of Data61 | M&C: connectivity and the 4th IR

 

The Data61 CSIRO entity that is the largest data innovation group in Australia. Adrian is a successful and influential Australian technology entrepreneur who has spent 18 years in Silicon Valley. He is also co-chair of the Australia Cyber Security Growth Network (ACSGN) and a member of the Board of Directors for the Australian eHealth Research Centre (AeHRC).

 

This event provides a great opportunity for you to learn about local and international trends and also to network with industry representatives and peers.

 

The format for the evening includes:

Registration - 6.15 pm

Seminar - 6.30 to 7.30 pm

Drinks and canapés - 7.30–8.30pm
