Build your own with Meccano (and take it home with you after!) * For ages 6-10 only*

Release your inner inventor and create construction models with Meccano.

As your young inventor assembles their very own creations, they'll learn how principles from science, technology, engineering, arts, and math are practically applied. Once they complete their first build, kids will feel an incredible sense of satisfaction.

They will be able to take their invention home to proudly display or perhaps to build something else entirely new!

There is something to suit everybody Meccano!

Please note:

- This session has been designed for ages 6-10. Please book any older children into the Meccano for Ages 11 +.

- Due to COVID Safety Requirements there is a limit of 15 places for children.

- All children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please only book your child into an individual session if you are accompanying them.

- All appropriate COVID measures will be in practice including hand hygiene and physical distancing measures

- Please stay home if you feel unwell.

Cancellations:

- Please advise the Library by emailing library@​astc.​nt.​gov.​au or calling 8950 0555 if you are unable to attend an individual session. This enables children on the waitlist to be able to attend the session.

- Please arrive within 15 minutes of your session start time. After this time your place may be given to someone on the waitlist. If you are running late please do not hesitate to call us on 8950 0555.
