Event description

Learn MAXON's Cinema 4D

Course Overview

Cinema 4D is one of the most impressive 3D modelling applications and one of its greatest features is its simplicity of use. This course is an introduction to how you can create 3D images quickly using Cinema 4D’s intuitive design and logical workflow. In this introductory course, you’ll learn about using Cinema 4D for animation, lighting plus camera techniques, typography and objects.

Whether you’d like to produce video for broadcast or you’re already working in a related industry, this course will introduce the skills you need to stand out and to create some outstanding work.

Basic object types and MoGraph animation tools will be introduced and used to create a strong groundwork for real-world projects. Concepts, tools and jargon that relate to all 3D graphics software on the market today will be explained and used.

You will learn how to easily create exciting graphic looks and animations. Topics to be covered will include creating and modifying primitive shapes, splines, HyperNURBS, texture creation and application, lighting, key-frame animation and using the asset libraries that are included with Cinema 4D.

In line with current trends, you will also learn basic MoGraph tools to create highly effective animated 3D text together with options for rendering and exporting your work. At the end of the day you will have produced a short 3D text animation, with textures, lights and simple background. If you want to learn how to introduce Cinema 4D into your skillset this is the course for you.
