Combinations is arguably one of the tougher topics in Mathematics Extension 1. With the new syllabus now expanding on this topic, it is important to get a good grasp on this early on! Bored of studies is hosting a seminar which will help you get ahead in developing efficient counting and rearrangement strategies when it comes to solving combinatoric problems.

Toipics covered include:

  • Basics of permutations and combinations

  • The pigeonhole principle (a new syllabus concept!)

  • Solving problems using permutations, combinations and the pigeonhole principle
