Summary
Stepping up to leadership for the first time can be a challenge, especially when leading former peers.
This program helps position you do it more effectively.Gain understanding of the stages of team development, the tools and techniques to support and develop team effectiveness an understanding of personality and behaviour styles (Extended DISC) and the new responsibilities of management outside of your technical discipline.
Topics include:
- BSBFLM303 Contribute to effective workplace relationships
- BSBFLM305 Support operational plan
- BSBFLM306 Provide workplace information and resourcing plans
- BSBFLM312 Contribute to team effectiveness
As part of this workshop you will also go away with your own personal Extended DISC profile assessment which can help you understand your own communication working and leadership style better and how to interact better with others.
Duration
This is a two day interactive and participatory workshop.
