Wed. 23 November 2016, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm AEDT
Our Future is in Your Hands!
Whether you are a seasoned, upcoming, high-potential, aspiring, formal or informal leader, this presentation will take your leadership impact to the next level.
This public presentation is for those who, whether recognised or not, exercise leadership in everyday life through their efforts to make a positive difference to the lives of others in their business, organisations, families and communities.
Leaders are not necessarily those in formal positions of power or authority but rather those who, regardless of their role, demonstrate leadership (e.g. employees, managers, business owners, volunteers, educators, teachers, professionals, chaplains, or parents).
In this presentation, you will learn about the current leadership crisis, its causes, the latest challenges and developments in the field, and the new trends in contemporary leadership – including the new mindset and mental software that will enable you to become a more effective leader than you ever imagined by exceeding your own expectations, and making a contribution beyond the predictable.
Leadership Is Everyone’s Responsibility
We have witnessed a string of pervasive patterns of fraud and corruption in the Australian financial services industry in recent times, which prompted Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull to call for major bank leaders to “stand up and show real leadership” over cultural issues facing the sector, warning that the “good name and reputation” of banks is at risk.
These problems are symptoms caused by more fundamental issues… Current leadership practices are out of sync with our change world.
Much of what you have been told about leadership is outdated and a lot of hooey!
It glamorises those who we call leaders – many of whom don’t know how to lead.
This presentation unveils some of the most pervasive leadership myths, and shares the latest advancements in leadership development, that will enable you to take your formal or informal leadership to the next level.
