Brisbane Sound Group is proud to present MASTERCLASS: Mixing Church Audio, with Andrew Crawford, Rob Bird and special guest Reid Wall. After numerous Covid delays we're thrilled to be running this event in person at Hillsong Church Brisbane. Join our panel of experts for an interactive session on all facets of mixing church audio followed by a Q&A session at the end.

For the first time ever we're also running a production gear tradeshow. Arrive from 6pm to get hands on time with audio and lighting gear from Allen & Heath, Adamson Audio, AudioTechnica, MA Lighting, Zero88, Martin Professional, ShowPro, VuePix LED Screens, GreenGo & Riedel communications to name a few. We'll have a variety of industry experts on hand to show you the equipment and answer your questions.

About the presenters:

Andrew Crawford has been part of the Audio team at Hillsong for well over 20 years, during that time he enjoyed a 10 year tenure on staff as FOH and Recording Engineer at Hillsong Church in Sydney. He can still be found on any given Sunday behind the console pushing faders. He has been privileged to also be a part of many Hillsong tours and has used every FOH set up imaginable. Andrew is a great communicator with years of experience and a wealth of knowledge.

Reid Wall is part of the core production team for Hillsong Church Australia serving as the state production manager for QLD and NT as well as a key part of the audio team. Comfortable at both the front of house and monitor consoles Reid has an intimate understanding of what’s required in the church environment.

Rob Bird has been working in the industry for 20 years, starting out in corporate production in Sydney, before moving into FOH, Monitor Engineering & Project Management. Rob has broad experience in festivals, concerts & installations, along with mixing audio for many years both as a freelance engineer and at Bridgeman Community Baptist and Hope Community Baptist churches.
