After our hugely successful MasterClass series in 2020, Fifty Acres CEO, Jo Scard is updating and repeating the series.

With many not-for-profits and for-good organisations strategising the best they can, there are lots of questions about how to best deliver their communications and engagement goals.

In this second and last of our MasterClass series we will discuss maximising the reach of your organisation by identifying and engaging with audiences as well as efficiently managing your channels.

In this free 60-minute webinar, we will cover how to get to know your audience to help your project flourish. You will be able to identify who your audience is and what they need. You will understand the importance of researching your audience to put your best foot forward.

We will delve into community involvement, utilising existing contacts and owned media, as well as self-marketing and publicity. You will gain an understanding of paid advertising including digital, influences and other mediums that could help get your project out in the world and seen by your audience. We cover connecting with your audience through events, and how to get as much free coverage as possible.

About the presenter:

Jo Scard, Founder + Chief Executive Officer

As Founder and CEO, Jo leads the team at Fifty Acres and is involved with all projects offering her insight and highly sought after strategic counsel. Jo has over 20 years’ experience in communications, corporate and political advisory roles and journalism making her one of Australia’s foremost strategic advisers. A respected former journalist in the UK and Australia Jo has worked with ITV, Associated Press, Seven Network, SBS, ABC and Fairfax. A trained lawyer she is a Member of the NSW Council of the Public Relations Institute of Australia and on the Boards of human rights law centre, the National Justice Project and Hockey ACT. Jo started Fifty Acres over nine years ago because she wanted to create an agency that supported flexible work and that was motivated by strong values and work in the for-purpose sectors.
