Overview

Master Your Supervision Skills Workshop has been developed for experienced supervisors and want to extend their supervisory skills.

WHAT IS THE WORKSHOP ABOUT?

The workshop has been developed to support clinicians who have previous experience in student supervision and want to extend their supervisory skills. Ideally participants will have completed the "Supercharge Your Supervision Skills" workshops or equivalent. Participants are expected to actively engage in the learning and share their experiences with the cohort.

This workshop is appropriate for clinicians from all professions including nursing, midwifery, allied health, and medicine.

Workshop topics:

23 April - Incorporating Interprofessional Practice and Education into Student Placements

30 April - Reflection in Critical Thinking & Clinical Reasoning

7 May - The Supervisor / Student Relationship

14 May - Effectively Managing Supervisor Performance

21 May - Alternative Supervision Models

28 May - Managing Stress & Preventing Burnout

Please note this registration is for all 6 topics. Please ensure you advise via email to sqrh@uq.edu.au if you are unable to attend on the day.

If you are only wanting to attend single workshops, please register via the specific workshop event option for each topic.

All workshop material will be emailed to you prior to each workshop and all workshops will be online via Zoom.
