About this Event

Resurrection Parish, Kings Park will open for public Mass, provided we adhere to certain guidelines for parishioners' health and safety.

You must book tickets here on eventbrite. This is because we are required to maintain attendance records for contact tracing.

A maximum of 50 attendees may be present in the church at any given time. For this reason, we have introduced this booking system whereby parishioners may register for the Mass of their choice.

This serves two purposes. Firstly, we are able to collect the names and contact details of attendees in accordance with government regulations. Secondly, we wish to avoid turning parishioners away at the church door when full capacity is reached.

For more information, please take a look at the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) below.

Fr Gerard thanks you for your cooperation and understanding, and look forward to welcoming you back to church.

However, if you are unable to attend Mass in person, please rest assured the faithful continue to be dispensed of their obligation to attend Sunday Mass. You may continue to watch Mass online or on TV.

FAQs

1. How can I contact the parish with any questions?

Please contact the Parish Office by phone 8312 6350 or email kingspark@cam.org.au.

2. How is the parish taking precautions for my health and safety?

  • Hand sanitisers will be available at the entrance.
  • Parishioners will enter via one door only, and exit via another door.
  • Seats and door handles will be sanitised after each Mass.
  • There will be no shared Holy Water.
  • There will be no shared Precious Blood at Holy Communion.
  • Holy Communion will be received on the hand and not on the tongue.
  • Collection baskets will not be passed around, but placed near the front of the church.

3. Do I have to register online if I am a choir member, reader or Eucharist minister at Mass?

No. Please do not register if you are part of conducting the Mass. You are exempt from the 50-person limit.

4. How does the parish communicate with parishioners?

We send emails to all parishioners on our email list and in the parish census. We also update our website and Facebook page.

5. Can I still go to Mass if the event registration is full?

If the Mass registration is full, you will be able to add your name to a waiting list.Mass registration will close one hour before Mass. This is so that the usher has time to print a list of attendees. If Mass registration has closed but you see there are fewer than 20 people who have registered, you may decide to go to that Mass. However, we cannot guarantee you will admitted if others do the same.

6. Do I need to bring my ticket to the event?

No. The church will have a list of registered attendees.

7. Is it OK if the name on my registration doesn't match the person who attends?

You can edit the names and details of attendees after registering. Otherwise, just inform the church of the change when you arrive at Mass.

8. What if I can no longer attend the Mass I registered for?

Please cancel your registration as soon as possible, so that someone on the wait list may attend.

9. How can I help?

If you are able to volunteer or help sanitise the church after Mass, please contact the Parish Office.
