Event description

Description

Due to the popularity of this last year, we are running two workshops again in 2017!

You can now either attend on Saturday 21 OR Sunday 22 October.

Join local artist Rose Holdaway and learn how to create amazing artworks from marine debris.

Please bring along any tools (PVA glue, gardening wire, scissors, pliers, drill etc) and materials that you particularly want to use (we will have some there as well). There will be materials to create your masterpieces sourced from Geraldton's Big Beach Spring Clean. However, workshop participants are encouraged to clean up their local beach and find treasures that they would like to create into something new.

Participants will have the opportunity to display their creations at ACDC as part of the Marine Debris Art Exhibition opening on Friday 10th November, to celebrate National Recycling Week.

This is a free event and lunch will be provided. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements

This workshop is primarily aimed at adults. Children are welcome to attend, however they must be accompanied by an adult.

For more information please contact Emma Jackson at NACC on 9938 0104 or emma.jackson@nacc.com.au.
